Fine Art Ceramics Ltd, one of the country's leading dental laboratories, based in Market Bosworth, has recently successfully hosted an evening's presentation by Dr Raj Patel BDS LDS RCS LSC BDSRPC from Sheffield Dental School to an invited audience of dental surgeons from around the Midlands.
This evening was the second in a series of evening workshops being promoted by Fine Art Ceramics Ltd across a wide range of topics. This evening was co-hosted by 3M and Jessops who provided examples of the latest 3M technologies and a vast range of camera equipment from Jessops.
Dr Patel is a consultant in restorative dentistry and lecturer in implantology and his special interest is in digital inter-oral photography.
The evening not only allowed the participants to glean the rudiments of digital photography within the mouth but also allowed for interactive sessions to practice and ask questions of the experts.
Paul Long, joint Managing Director of Fine Art Ceramics commented, "improving the links and working relationships between surgeon and laboratory, will greatly enhance the quality of finished product to the client, benefiting both dental practice and the laboratory".
